The men of Bouche are unorecedented kombucha artists from Berlin. In addition to their line of soft drinks, they also have a project specifically aimed at non-alcoholic alternatives: NOVIN.

For their new NOVIN release they have taken a different path. A taste not inspired by beer or wine or other alternatives, but something truly unique: Opaque is its own taste. As a nutrient for the kombucha culture, they have used barley malt, a flavor that also provides a strong backbone to the rest of the flavors.

The tea they have used is light in color to retain fresh greener flavours, complemented by an aroma of fresh apricot. The woody flavors in Opaque come from dried walnut leaves and roasted birch. Both cold and hot macerated. These last two additions offer a nice tannin but leave enough room for the tea to make its mark.

Rounded off by the typical acidity of their kombucha, Opaque turns it into a completely new, mature, non-alcoholic experience.
